About Our Church

                                           A Brief Church History
Our Church was organized in 1932 and in 1935 purchased the Train Station from the North Pacific Coast Railroad. It served as the sanctuary until 1964. The congregation became affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in 1941 under the authority of the Board of National Missions. We called our first pastor in 1954 and became associated with the Point Reyes Presbyterian Church in 1963. We shared pastors with them until 2004.  In December 2005 we called a full time pastor.

                                                The Train Station
The Train Station was constructed in the 1870's to serve the San Geronimo Valley and Nicasio for the North Pacific Coast Railroad.  The railroad ceased operation in 1933 and was purchased along with the property by the San Geronimo Valley Community Church which later became the San Geronimo Community Presbyterian Church.  The building was remodeled to serve as a church and was used in that capacity until 1964.  Since that time it has been used for storage, etc. and has been in various stages of restoration.  It has been recently painted the original railroad colors and  the interior has been restored and remodeled to accommodate a pastor's office, church offices and meeting rooms.
